My name is Enya Savory, I am a 24 year old Deafblind woman living in the Hunter region of NSW. My Deafblindness doesn’t have a specific name but it is a result of having both atypical Albinism and a connective tissue disorder.
I want more people to know that Deafblindness affects people of all ages for a variety of reasons, there is no ‘one size fits all’ for any type of Deafblindness and we all experience dual sensory loss in different ways.
If I could go anywhere in the world, I would travel to Indonesia and Micronesia and snorkel at all of the best spots around different regions!
